Key Responsibilities:

Communication:

 

  • Gather business needs; analyze, categorize and communicate with news release vendor by delivering the most accurate and appropriate information. Coordination and contract management SEDAR, SEDI, News Wire & press releases. Ensure all matters related to the company’s press release are disseminated on time;

  • Manage the company’s both English and French website including layout, projects, public awards, workforce culture, information update, backend analysis, figures, brand guidelines;

  • Communicate with multiple translation vendors and ensure all materials in French are delivered on time and accurate;

  • Control the flow of information between an organization and the public by managing all social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Indeed, etc. on a daily basis. Post news releases, events, awards winning, interviews, articles, corporate photo galleries in professional tones;

  • Source, support and participate in most trade shows, vendor events, booth presenting, conference, summit, and road shows. Manage all booth and marketing materials including design and communication with implementing vendors. Ensure all materials are professional, timely and accurate;

  • Draft, update and manage corporate presentation, investor deck presentation, fact sheet. Implement all ideas into demonstratable result by excellent Microsoft and other skills;

  • Internal communications and external vendor communications


Assistant Controller

  • Report to the Corporate Controller and CFO is accountable for the delivery of timely financial information;

  • Oversee Corporate, Goldboro, ExploreCo Sage accounts; Maintain PO and Purchase Workflow; generate analysis reports;

  • Month-end and Quarter-end reconciliation.


Training

  • Support training with different crews in Newfoundland on LMS (Learning Management System) ;

  • Implement back-end support on Anaconda University;
